My last review in the corporate world. Cubicles suck & never looked back. I was a software engineer or some crap like that:
John, your initiative is very impressive. You do not wait to be told what to do. When you see a need or opportunity, you are the first to step up and act. Your energy and dedication set a terrific example for the rest of the organization. You easily distinguish between things that will help you accomplish your goals and those which will not. You are always on the lookout for possible roadblocks and develop excellent contingency plans to achieve your priorities. As a result of your foresight, when something goes awry, you have an immediate and effective response. You push yourself to achieve stretch goals. You are not satisfied meeting just your quota, deadline, or standard, but keep working to get better results. You are very good at picking up new technical skills. You eagerly learn about new technology. You are unafraid of trying new skills and incorporate new technology and practices into your work. Your colleagues could learn from you on how to get more done in less time. You take personal responsibility for your work.
While you are genuinely hilarious, your humor often goes over the line. You have used humorous statements to deliver veiled negative messages, which have sometimes been interpreted as inappropriate or insulting. You respect the work of others only if you see how it relates to your work. You identify roles, tasks, and reward for individuals, but do not integrate them into teams. You take great pride in your projects and technological accomplishments (rightfully so) to the extent of sometimes not being receptive to the fact you can learn from other folks as well.
